Wedding Moments

I often think about what I should blog, and random moments are always my favorite so I’m going to go for it! I worked with Sarah Hess (Fleeting Moments Studio) this past weekend as her second shooter (I LOVE being second shooter!) She, by the way, is an awesome wedding photographer here in Waco and is the lady I’m referring to now that I’m not shooting weddings. Anyhoo, some of the greatest things about weddings are the MOMENTS. I love them! And everyone is so HAPPY. It’s fun to catch it on camera. Here are some of my favorite moments from last weekend – I hope you enjoy them as much as I did! They are in an absolutely random order, by the way.

Blue sky. Love it.

This is the lovely bride and her father right before doors swing open and they head down the aisle. Love it.

This is in the guys’ dressing room as they’re getting ready. The groom’s mom is pointing out the fact that grandma has a pretty saucy slit in the side of her dress – and grandma’s showing it off! Love it.

I’m not sure what was said during the family picture, but it must have been pretty funny! Love it.

Here the dads are hanging out waiting for the ceremony to start. They’re dapper and they know it. Love it.

Lois Ferguson is a wedding day consultant here in Waco. She makes everything run smoothly! Again, I’m not sure what was said to the bride’s grandparents, but it must have been funny! Love it. This couple was one of my favorite parts of the entire day!

The Bride’s dad was drying his tears as the bridesmaids headed into the sanctuary. He’s waiting for his daughter to join him so they can walk in together. Love it. (I warned you that the pictures are in random order!)

Princess Update

I’m donating a photo shoot for Central Christian Church’s annual PDO fundraiser and needed some sample images to provide a little extra giving incentive. After looking through a bunch of recent shoots, I decided to print some of my own girls instead! They’re pictures I needed to get on the wall anyway – am I the only one that’s bad about getting these digital images on paper and in frames? So anyhoo, here are a few pictures that we took this summer.

Caroline Turns One!

I met Caroline’s parents before she was born for a maternity shoot, and soon afterwards I was able to meet her as a teeny tiny newborn. So cute! And now she’s ONE! It’s so fun to watch these sweet blessings grow. One of my favorite images yet to date is below…

Not that I don’t get happy about everything I take, but when I saw that one I was pretty excited. Her cake shots were classic too!

Woa! Two posts in a month! Well, almost. Don’t call it a comeback…

Meet Jackson and his schweet parents! This little man was one of the happiest babies I’ve worked with to date. Full of smiles! He even fell asleep for us, which is always a photographic treat

Daddy is a coach for Midway, so watch for him on those big Friday Nite games. Sometimes I really miss High School football! Thanks guys!

Baby Konnor

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged anything – before the summer, I think! – and what better way to break back into the blog scene than with a newborn shoot? Konnor is a cutie! He was an unexpected blessing, but a wonderful addition to his family. It’s also been a while since I’ve posted a slideshow, so we’re going all out for this little man!

Thebault shoot with Organic Photography

It’s picture time again! The great thing about being a photog is that I’ve got plenty of photog friends… and that means opportunities to get pictures of my family! Nate and Ashley of Organic Photography became friends when I shot their wedding last October. They are now doing more than a little shooting themselves, and we spent a great evening with them downtown near the fountains. Thanks guys!

A Tribute to Panties

That’s right, it’s panty time again for the Thebaults! Evie went potty for the first time yesterday! She’ll be 2 on Sunday. I’m a proud mama.

We made the customary trip to the store to get her special princess panties, and the girls had fun playing with them this morning. I think Evie tried on almost all of them!

Isn’t it funny what excites us as parents?

Anna sorted through her stash and passed on all those that were now too small. It was quite a ceremony.

I had fun yesterday spending an afternoon with Daisy and Bowen! They will soon be headed home to China to be married – I SO wish I could go!
