The Waco Today Article! YES!

Here it is!  My first publication!  The Waco Today is one of Waco’s monthly magazines.  I have to admit that it’s pretty darn fun to see my work in print.  I grabbed a bunch of copies yesterday so if you see me in the next week or so I’ll probably shove it in your lap.  Just humor me! :)

They did a whole wedding section and the first image was the cover image.  Pardon the poor scan job!

After that was the article on Nikki and Jamie’s wedding.  The first two pages were this spread followed by one page with the details of their big day.  I’m not sure that life will allow me to do many weddings 2009, so it’s even more fun to end the 2008 season with a bang!

Ms. Mary & Her Crew

My girls have the privilege of having wonderful teachers!  Anna loves Ms. Mary and loves being in her class.  It was fun to meet the rest of Ms. Mary’s “class” today during a family portrait session!  I’d never been to the Dr. Pepper Museum here in Waco, but it was fun to poke around.

As it turns out, Mary’s husband Bill has some special connections to the museum!  His dad worked for Dr. Pepper – first as a salesman, then the manager of the Waco Dr. Pepper plant, and eventually the vice president of Dr. Pepper!  Bill is an architect and is the owner of Architexas.  He has been Dr. Pepper’s own architect since its inception., and is the man behind the remodel of the museum!  Check it out if you haven’t been there.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Anniversary!

Meet the Lippe Family!

Christmas is a great time for family portraits – when else is everyone gathered and festive?  I got to see yet another fun property out in the fields of Waco, and we made good use of the farm equiptment.  Here’s the whole crew!  The wind was CRAZY so everyone has wild hair.

When everyone had enough of the wind outside played a bit on Grandma and Grandpa’s couch.  I’m not sure what was said here, but it must have been pretty funny!

The young and adventurous headed back outside.  Look at that sky!

These two are engaged but have not yet had engagement pictures done.  We slipped in a few by the awesome blue truck.

Merry Christmas!  Thanks for letting me spend a windy afternoon with your family!

Meet the Thebaults!

Yeah I know, like you haven’t seen a gazillion pictures of us already, but here we are again!  Tim Ivey of Imago Photography spent an afternoon with us and grabbed some great pictures of our family!  Here are two of my favorites.  In a couple of weeks these will appear as huge canvas prints in our home!  Thanks again Tim!

Fuzzy Evie

I don’t see my family much because they’re all up in the Great White North, and a question I often get is “Does Evie have any hair yet?”  The answer is YES!  She’s blond as can be, and she’s got an adorable curly mullet in the back.  Pretty cute!
